Items shipped outside of Florida are not charged Sales Tax. AS OF 7/1/2026 Florida has expanded the definition of Bullion. We will add the word "Bullion" when possible to denote sales tax exempt for items delivered to Florida when possible. US Coins and Currency that Are Commonly used and also not adorned are Sales Tax EXEMPT. Colorized coins and coins in a bezel are adorned are taxable for example. Coins used in jewelry is taxable as it is jewelry and not a coin. Colorized Silver Eagles have undergone an additional process and therefore are taxable. Coins and Currency that are no longer commonly traded are NOT tax exempt. The following are Not tax exempt - Half Cents, Half Dimes, 3 Cent Pieces, 2 Cent Pieces, 20 Cent pieces, Fractional Currency, Notes issued by individual States. All gold and silver Bullion is exempt under Florida's definition. Florida defines Bullion as coins rounds bars and ingots - Gold Bullion must be at least .995 finess and have weight struck on the item. Silver must be at least .999 and have the weight struck on the coin, bar, round, or ingot.
