Original World War II era sterling silver sweetheart bracelet featuring an ornate openwork filigree design with a large center panel displaying the U.S. Merchant Marines eagle and anchor emblem. The bracelet is personalized with “IRAN” on one panel and “1944” on another, indicating service or a voyage connected to Iran during WWII. Additional engraved nautical motifs decorate the remaining links. It weighs approximately 24 grams and retains a beautiful aged patina. A scarce and highly collectible piece of WWII military memorabilia.
