Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival mourning brooch dating to the late 19th century. This ornate Maltese cross design features intricate engraved details, a central oval gray cabochon (possibly moonstone, labradorite, banded agate, or glass), and a halo of seed pearls. The back has an early tube hinge and C-clasp, typical of Victorian jewelry. Crafted in gold-filled or gilt metal (unmarked). A beautiful collector’s piece with classic Victorian mourning and Etruscan Revival styling. Weight: 8 grams. Good antique condition with age-appropriate patina and wear.
