Description Wheat" dinnerware pattern produced by the Homer Laughlin China Company. Key Characteristics & History Era: This mid-century modern style pattern was primarily produced in the 1950s and 1960s. Design: It features a cream or off-white porcelain base decorated with a central sheaf of autumn-colored wheat and finished with a distinct 22K gold trim along the edge. Fun Fact: Many families originally collected these dishes as promotional premiums packed inside boxes of Duz laundry detergent during the mid-20th century. This collection includes a variety of standard serving shapes from the line: Dinner / Luncheon Plate (Top Left): The main flat dining surface. Salad / Bread Plates (Top Right stacks): Smaller side plates. Fruit / Dessert Bowl (Bottom Left): A shallow, small round bowl. Coupe Soup / Cereal Bowl (Bottom Right): A wider, deeper rimless bowl.
