This Smith's Dualgrit 6" Fine Diamond Stone Is A 6-inch Double-sided Sharpening Stone That Pairs A 1000 Grit Fine Surface With A 400 Grit Medium Face To Handle Final Honing And Initial Shaping. Multiple Layers Of Micron Sized Monocrystalline Diamonds Are Bonded In Nickel To A Flat Metal Plate For Fast Consistent Cutting Action, While An Interrupted Surface Design Speeds Material Removal. The Stone Nests In A Lightweight Plastic Base And Includes A Protective Lid That Inserts Into The Base To Extend Height For A Safer Lower Grip During Use.
