Cable- NL4 speaker Cable to bare end A 25-foot NL4 speaker cable to bare end is an ideal solution for connecting a professional amplifier (or powered mixer) to older passive speakers or custom wall plates. Standard NL4 Speakon connectors terminate securely to the amp, while the bare wire connects directly to screw terminals or spring clips. Wiring & Pinout Guide If you are attaching a new bare end to an NL4 connector, you must wire the cable to the industry standard 1+ and 1- positions. Positive (+): Connects to the 1+ terminal on the Speakon connector. Negative (-): Connects to the 1- terminal on the Speakon connector. 2+ and 2- pins: Leave these unused unless running a bi-amped or 4-conductor setup
