It features two 650W and one 300W Fresnel lights, complete with barndoors, 8-foot stands, and an included scrim kit and wheeled case. Kit Components & Features • Luminaires: Two 650W and one 300W Fresnel fixtures provide bright, continuous tungsten output. • Beam Control: Each light features a worm-gear driven knob for smooth spot-to-flood transitions and removable barndoors for spill control. • Power Regulation: The included Helios Scrim Kit (with wire screens) reduces light output without changing color temperature, and the 300W unit includes an in-line dimmer. • Portability: All stands and fixtures break down to fit neatly into a heavy-duty, wheeled hard case. How to Use for 3-Point Lighting To properly configure your kit for video interviews or portraits, arrange the lights as follows: 1. Key Light: The brightest light (a 650W fixture). Position it at a 45° angle to the subject's face to cast soft shadows and establish dimension. 2. Fill Light: A less intense light (the 300W fixture with a dimmer or scrim). Place it on the opposite side of the camera to soften the harsh shadows created by the key light. 3. Backlight (Hair Light): The remaining 650W fixture. Place it behind and slightly above the subject to separate them from the background.
