51" x 37" Antique hand-hooked textile mat featuring an oval floral medallion motif with pink and red blossoms over a dark indigo border. Exceptional tight loop construction reminiscent of early Grenfell or cottage industry folk art. Artistically float-matted and housed under glass in a classic dark green wood frame. Excellent antique condition with minimal, age-appropriate fading.
