19th-century Scottish "Literary" longcase mahogany clock. Hand-painted arched face portrays a lively interior scene labeled "Cotter's Saturday Night", a poem by Robert Burns. Paint has worn, but it still exhibits gorgeous color and detail. Arabic numerals appear to have been re-colored. Clock is in good working condition with original weights and pendulum.
