BOARD STYLE OF. Oil Canvas Board in the style of the painter Guy Carleton Wiggins. Guy Carleton Wiggins (New York, February 23, 1883 - St. Augustine, April 25, 1962) was an American impressionist painter. Son of the also painter Carleton Wiggins, who had a long and acclaimed career as a landscape painter, he was one of the youngest members of the Old Lyme Art Colony, he specialized throughout his career in portraying scenes of New York City covered by snow and other winter landscapes. He also portrayed New England landscapes in summer. Size: 16 1/2 by 18 1/4 inches. Framed. All measurements are approximate. Inscribed (on the reverse).
