This lot consists of a hand painted Drawing on paper in the style of the painter Henry Ossawa Tanner. Henry Ossawa Tanner was an American painter who was a disciple of Thomas Eakins. He was the first African-American painter to receive international recognition. Tanner moved to Paris in 1891 to study but remained residing there upon seeing his success among French artistic circles. <br> Image Size: 10 by 6 3/4 inches (25.5 by 17 cm) All measurements are approximate.
