This lot consists of a hand painted Ink on paper in the style of the painter Henry Ossawa Tanner. Henry Ossawa Tanner was an American painter who was a disciple of Thomas Eakins. He was the first African-American painter to receive international recognition. Tanner moved to Paris in 1891 to study but remained residing there upon seeing his success among French artistic circles. <br> Image Size: 11 by 8 inches (28 by 20 cm) All measurements are approximate.
