mehdi (Style Of). This lot consists of a hand painted charcoal, pencil on paper in the style of the painter eqbal mehdi. Eqbal Mehdi was born in Amroha India on April 1, 1946 into a family of writers, poets and filmmakers. He grew up in a family deeply rooted in art. Eqbal Mehdi's paintings are available at Clifton Art Gallery. His enormous body of work includes portraits, horses, Moorish street scenes and landscapes, local cultural events, and figurative representations executed in oils, pastels, and pen and ink, a Mehdi hallmark. <br> Image Size: 11 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches (29 by 21.5 cm) All measurements are approximate.
