This lot consists of a hand painted ink on paper in the style of the painter František Kupka. František Kupka was a Czech painter and graphic artist considered one of the pioneers and co-founder of the early stages of abstract art and Orphic cubism. Kupka's abstract works emerged from a foundation of realism, but later evolved into pure abstract art. Peter Helck was an American illustrator who specialized in depicting racing cars. He estimated that he had produced more than 600 sketches, drawings and paintings during his career. <br> Image Size: 10 1/2 by 8 inches (27 by 20 cm) All measurements are approximate.
