2 Piece Copper Pitcher / Ewer Lot

Offered is a 2 piece copper pitcher lot as pictured. Includes one tall footed copper ewer / pitcher with pear shaped body on flared pedestal foot, trumpet spout with silver-toned collar band, and curved brass side handle, marked on bottom "Erben Alter MADE IN HOLLAND", measuring approximately 13" to 14" tall x approximately 5" to 6" diameter; and one hammered copper pitcher / ewer with asymmetrical angled spout with scalloped / wavy rim, baluster body with horizontal seam, and ornate brass handle with figural dragon / grotesque terminals, riveted construction, measuring approximately 10" to 11" tall. The group shows surface wear consistent with age and use including light scratches, scuffs, surface tarnish and discoloration, spotting and mottled patina as pictured. The tall footed ewer shows light surface marks and fine pitting, interior shows light green verdigris spotting at spout and neck, base shows green felt pads and light residue. The hammered pitcher shows moderate wear with heavy tarnish, darker patina to recesses, verdigris / corrosion to mid-body seam and to base, the base exterior shows heavy oxidation and discoloration, and interior shows discoloration with green verdigris spotting. Both show light dents and surface irregularities inherent to hand made construction. Sold as-is as one lot. Please refer to all photos for complete details and condition.
