R Serial # NSN. .22 Sh-LR caliber bolt action rifle with an 18” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling with some light fouling. Detachable magazine. Flip down black plastic forearm. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing light muzzle wear with light scratches and scattered light freckling. The blued metal finish on the grooved receiver is in very good to excellent condition showing little wear with some widely scattered light freckling. The walnut stock is in good condition showing light wear with heavy scratches on the left side and a hole drilled into the left side of the butt. The black plastic folding forearm has numerous scratches. Original front sight, the rear aperture sight has been removed. The red and green safety dots are missing. The plastic trigger guard is not warped. The action works fine. Includes a Mossberg No. M4D scope attached to the grooved receiver. Made from 1949-1957. C&R.
