Serial Number # NSN. .50 caliber contemporary flintlock rifle with a 40” octagon Green Mountain barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. The lock plate is unmarked. Double set triggers. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing light edge wear with scattered fine scratches. There is some light rust around the front and rear sights. The lock plate, hammer and frizzen have a matte black finish that is turning slightly brown. The full-length striped hardwood stock with decorative carving on the butt is in very good condition showing scattered light marks with finish wear. Brass butt plate, patch box, trigger guard nose cap and decorative side plate. The action works fine, the set trigger is very sensitive. Includes a leather frizzen cover and the wood ram rod.
