A pair of late 19th and early 20th-century landscape etchings on paper, each mounted to heavy cardstock. The first is a wooded river scene signed in pencil Benj. Lander with a cottage remarque and a copyright date of 1904. The second workis a moonlight canal scene with a windmill signed E. Rost and dated 92 in the plate, published by Fishel, Adler and Schwartz, New York. Both prints exhibit rich tonal range and original remarques in the lower margins. Both prints exhibit significant condition issues including heavy toning, foxing, and water staining. The mounts show edge wear, losses, and brittle corners.
