Cessna 140 restoration project offered with a Continental C90-12F engine, both detached wing assemblies, wing lift struts, two-blade metal propeller, and assorted aircraft components. The 90-horsepower, four-cylinder, air-cooled Continental engine remains mounted to the airframe and carries engine serial number 41206-8-12. The aluminum fuselage is supported on its main landing gear, with rudder pedals and portions of the flight-control system remaining installed. Both wings are included with two V-shaped lift-strut assemblies and jury-strut bracing. Fabric covering remains on portions of the wings, with other areas uncovered and the metal spars and ribs exposed. Additional included components consist of cabin doors with windows, cowling sections, control yokes, seat and upholstery components, instrument-panel pieces, detached control surfaces, and assorted loose parts. The cockpit is partially disassembled, and the instrument panel is incomplete. Wings, windshield, doors, cowling, and propeller are not installed. Offered as an unfinished restoration project; completeness and airworthiness have not been verified. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the airframe, engine, and accompanying components before bidding.
