Vintage Mid-Century Modern Chrome Double-Sphere Table Lamp. Vintage chrome table lamp featuring two graduated polished chrome spheres stacked vertically on a substantial circular chrome base. The sculptural, geometric form is characteristic of the Mid-Century Modern/Space Age aesthetic, with highly reflective chrome surfaces creating a striking decorative effect. The lamp rises to an open chrome harp surrounding a single exposed bulb, giving the piece an almost atomic-era appearance. The polished chrome finish extends throughout the spherical body, stem, hardware, and broad circular base. A vintage-style gold/tan electrical cord and plug are present. The lamp has been photographed from multiple angles, including the underside of the base. The chrome surfaces are highly reflective and show normal surface marks, age-related wear and reflections consistent with vintage use. The photographs also reveal the original electrical components and cord.
