Make: L.C. Smith Caliber: 20 GA Action: Break Bore: Bright Serial # 6546 Condition: Very Good Importer: Hunter Arms Co Manufactured by the Hunter Arms Co. in 1913, this L.C. Smith Field Grade 20-Gauge hammerless side-by-side shotgun features serial number 6546, placing its production during the historic inaugural transition year of the company's named grading system. Engineered on a highly desirable, scaled-down sub-gauge frame, the shotgun utilizes a true sidelock action and is fitted with fluid-steel Armor Steel barrels roll-stamped with the factory markings in Fulton, New York. Given its antique metallurgy and original 2½-inch chambers, this vintage double-gun represents a classic piece of early 20th-century American firearms history; for an accurate assessment of the remaining case-hardened colors, stock wood integrity behind the lockplates, and overall condition, please see the photos.
