Struck in Birmingham England at the Heaton Mint, there were no large cents minted from 1860 to 1875, to help circulate the abundance of 1858/9 coins. Actually, the that is a very small part of the story on the reason why none were minted. According to coinsandcanada.com, there are 8 varieties of die errors and unclassified varieties listed for this year. 2 of them increase the value and collectability. This coin has neither. As far as I know.
