Vivid green pressed-glass compote — a square bowl with a thumbprint-oval row over a stippled band, on a stepped square pedestal foot with a diamond-cut base band. About 4 3/4 inches tall; the bowl top measures about 4 1/2 inches corner to corner. No maker's mark found. Condition: all four rim corners are sharp and unchipped, with no cracks anywhere; the bowl's interior carries cloudy whitish residue patches and streaky film, and the foot underside has whitish deposits in the recesses, all shown in the photos; one fine light scratch crosses the pedestal's front step. FRAGILE — glass; will be packed with care for shipping.
