Glass swan dish — deep ruby red teardrop bowl body with a clear glass neck and head and an oval center well. About 7 in. long and 6 in. tall to the top of the head. No maker's mark found on the polished base. Hand-worked glass with small seeds and bubbles in the metal, fine surface scratches, and one tiny orange-red speck on the neck, all as photographed; no chips or cracks observed — beak, neck and rims intact. Fragile glass — it will be packed with extra care for shipping. A larger companion swan dish in pink-and-white swirled glass is offered as Lot 269 in this same sale.
