Beautiful boxed set of six vintage hand-decorated glass Christmas ornaments in classic Old World style. The assortment includes round and teardrop-shaped ornaments in festive red, green, pink, cream/gold and silver-toned finishes. The ornaments feature two coordinating decorative styles: several have silver glitter lattice diamond patterns, while others are decorated with delicate hand-painted poinsettia-style flowers and foliage. Each ornament has a silver-tone metal cap and hanging loop. The original presentation box is included and is marked “Hand Decorated Glass Ornaments Created by European Craftsmen in the Old World Tradition. Likely 1980s–1990s vintage. Thin blown glass with metallic reflective interior or exterior finish, hand-painted decoration, applied glitter and silver-tone metal caps/hangers. These are fragile traditional glass ornaments rather than modern plastic ornaments. Good vintage pre-owned condition overall. All six ornaments are present and appear intact with no obvious major cracks or broken sections visible. The painted floral designs and glitter decoration remain attractive and colorful. There is some expected age related wear, including light finish loss, tarnishing around the metal caps, minor glitter loss and small surface imperfections. The original fitted box and insert are included and show noticeable storage wear, including corner and edge wear, creasing and general aging.
