Elephant Figurine with Gold Gilt Accents. This ceramic figurine depicts an elephant in a dynamic walking pose with its trunk raised and one front leg forward. The piece is finished in a pale celadon or mint green glaze and features gold gilt accents on the ears, tusks, feet, and eyes. The underside of the feet shows faint, illegible incised marks. The style and construction are attributed to mid-20th-century American art pottery production, possibly by companies such as Royal Haeger or McCoy.
