This item is a vintage "Mouse with Cookie" Cookie Jar, produced from a popular 1970s ceramic hobby mold (most notably matching designs by Byron Molds or Scioto). Similar to the scarecrow jar viewed earlier, this piece was cast in white clay slip at a local hobby studio and completely decorated by hand with cold paint (non-fired acrylics or stains) rather than a commercial high-gloss glaze. It features a cheerful brown mouse wearing a green jacket, a yellow bowtie, and eating a partially bitten cookie, with a sack labeled "Cookys" at its feet.
