A lot comprising two framed wall hangings. The first is a vintage photographic portrait of a woman, likely a monochrome print from the late 19th century, depicting the subject in period dress. The photograph is presented in a light-toned wooden frame equipped with both an easel stand and a cord for wall mounting on the reverse. The second item is a mechanical halftone reproduction of Heinrich Hofmann’s painting titled Christ in the Temple. The print displays a distinct dot matrix pattern consistent with commercial lithographic reproduction and is housed in a dark-stained wooden frame under glass. No signatures or maker marks are visible on either piece. Condition: The photographic portrait exhibits significant surface fading and a pervasive haze across the image. Both wooden frames show general age-related wear, including minor scuffing and abrasions to the finish. Strips of green adhesive tape with handwritten dimensions are present on the exterior glass of both items. The backing of the portrait frame shows wear and minor tearing at the edges of the board.
