This framed needlepoint artwork, executed in a tent stitch on mesh canvas, depicts a traditional landscape featuring a water mill with a red-tiled roof and a turning water wheel beside a stream. The scene includes a smaller cottage to the right and a tall tree in the left foreground, rendered in a palette of green, brown, blue, and red tones. The piece is presented under glass in a green-finished wooden frame with a gilded inner lip. The verso is covered in brown paper and bears a small retail label for Simpson's with the printed text ORDER No. and the handwritten number 16467. Condition: The needlework appears to be in good condition behind the glass. The wooden frame shows visible chipping and wear to the green paint and the gilded inner lip. There is light debris and dust present on the backing paper.
