This group of ceramic items includes one T. Furnival and Son ironstone lidded pot, two molded floral pitchers, and two Canadian Centennial commemorative mugs. The ironstone lidded pot features a faceted, bulbous form with a curved spout, a large D-shaped handle, and a lid topped with a molded finial depicting two birds. It is decorated with a brown underglaze transfer-printed botanical motif in the Flores Vanni pattern, depicting wildflowers, grasses, and insects, including bees. The base bears a brown underglaze transfer mark featuring the pattern name within a rectangular cartouche and T. Furnival and Son on a curved ribbon. The two white glazed earthenware pitchers display bulbous bodies with scalloped rims and foliate handles, featuring elaborate relief-molded floral and leaf patterns. One pitcher base is stamped with the characters B 4 1. The two Canadian Centennial commemorative mugs are crafted from glazed earthenware in a tapered cylindrical shape with flared rims and single D-shaped handles. Each mug features a relief-molded emblem of the stylized eleven-triangle maple leaf logo above the dates 1867 and 1967. The mugs are finished in a two-tone honey-tan glaze with a dark olive-green drip glaze at the rim and interior. The base of one mug is incised with CANADA. Mugs: Height 4 inches (measured against a tape measure) Pitchers: Height approx. 5.75 inches (measured against a tape measure) Lidded Pot: Height approx. 9 inches (measured against a tape measure). Condition: The lidded pot exhibits fine crazing across the body and lid, with minor brownish staining visible at the lid rim and the tip of the spout. The white pitchers and commemorative mugs show no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration.
