A mid-20th century revival style occasional table constructed from mahogany-stained hardwood. The drop-leaf top features a decorative scalloped edge with a moulded pie-crust rim. The design incorporates two hinged leaves which extend to form a rounded surface, supported by a gate-leg mechanism. The base consists of six slender legs, including four stationary and two articulated gate-legs, each featuring fluted central turnings and simple turned feet. The legs are braced by a low-profile H-form stretcher. Condition: The table is in good overall condition with a consistent dark reddish-brown finish. The surface exhibits minor abrasions, small nicks, and light scratches consistent with domestic use. The hinges and gate-leg mechanism are functional and the structure is stable.
