While millions of packs of cigarettes were distributed to the Armed Forces during WWII, very few survive today as they were enjoyed by the troops who felt the connection to home. This surviving pack has printed on the tax stamp "Free of tax Use of U.S. July 1943". July 1943 saw the US invade Sicily while the Marines in the Pacific launched Operation Cartwheel. Condition: Very good. 2 3/4"H
