An opportunity to own an original etching by legendary artist Pablo Picasso, originally created in 1950 for his friend, French author Robert Godet (known as Roby), for his book L'Âge de Soleil. Picasso reportedly allowed Godet to retain the original printing plate and produce additional impressions for sale. This example is believed to be from a later printing dating to the 1960s or early 1970s. Picasso's signature and the inscription "Pour Roby" appear in reverse as part of the etched image. Framed and accompanied by an authentication certificate from The Collector's Guild Ltd. of New York. Plate-signed, not individually hand-signed.
