A vintage cast iron floor ashtray featuring an ornate Gothic Revival design. The stand is constructed with a flattened openwork stem featuring diamond lattice and scrolled flourishes, supported by a flared square pedestal base with foliate filigree. The top consists of a circular drip pan with a foliate edge and a central securing pricket. This item measures 27 inches high by 7 inches square. The cast iron shows significant surface oxidation and heavy rust throughout. The original gold-toned finish is largely worn, leaving a patinated grey-brown surface. The pricket is slightly bent, though the stand remains structurally sound.
