This Colonial Revival side table is constructed from solid pine with a dark mahogany-toned finish. The rectangular top features two drop leaves and molded edges, supported by a trestle-style base with silhouette-cut pedestal supports. A carved six-petal floral motif decorates each support, and a false drawer front is fitted with a brass-toned batwing bail handle. The unit stands on tiered plinth bases joined by a lower stretcher. This table measures 22.5 inches tall by 15inches wide when closed, and 28 inches wide when the top is open. The table exhibits surface wear throughout including numerous scratches, scuffs, and white paint transfer marks on the top. There is finish loss and chipping to the edges and base.
