Up for auction is a striking, rustic metal sculpture of a swordfish (or marlin). Crafted with a distinct folk-art or industrial aesthetic, this piece features a cut-metal silhouette with a jagged dorsal fin, a prominent elongated bill, and small applied metal pieces for the eye and bottom fins. The entire piece is welded onto a central metal post resting on a heavy, textured rectangular metal plate base. It features a rich, naturally weathered rust patina that adds an authentic, vintage coastal character. This unique decorative accent is perfect for a lake house, beach cottage, mantelpiece, or industrial-style space.
