Wonderful sterling silver antique vanity brush featuring an ornate embossed floral Victorian design manufactured by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. Marked “sterling 445”. The number “445” stamped on the silver is the maker’s pattern or style code used by Gorham Silver, which historically produced a variety of highly decorative, ornate repousse hollowware and vanity piece. The bezel setting seems to be a tiny bit apart from the bristels, as well as a tiny crack but is in overall great condition. Total weight: 3.700 ozt.
