BEFORE THERE WAS TESLA, THERE WAS BOMBARDIER! Here's something you don't see every day! A 1998 Bombardier Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV), manufactured by the same Canadian company famous for Ski-Doo snowmobiles and Sea-Doo watercraft! Long before electric cars became mainstream, Bombardier was producing these unique little electric vehicles for short trips around town, neighborhoods, and private communities. Produced for only a few years during the late 1990s, these unusual machines represent an interesting chapter in American electric vehicle history. TWO DRIVING MODES! Features a highway mode capable of approximately 28 MPH and a golf cart mode limited to approximately 15 MPH. Equipped with a built-in battery charger and includes removable canvas side doors and a car cover. LONG-TERM OWNER – ALWAYS STORED INDOORS! The seller has owned this vehicle for many years and previously used it regularly for running errands around town. He installed a new set of batteries several years ago and continued using it before placing it in indoor storage. IMPORTANT – WILL NEED BATTERIES! The vehicle has been sitting indoors for the past few years, and the existing batteries will no longer accept a charge. It is being sold as a non-running vehicle in need of replacement batteries. The seller reports that it was operational when last used. Whether you're an electric vehicle enthusiast, a collector of unusual machines, or simply looking for a fun project to use around your property or campground, this little Bombardier is certainly something different! AN UNUSUAL OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A PIECE OF EARLY ELECTRIC CAR HISTORY!
