Vintage ornate mantel clock case or housing with black finish, contrasting bronze-tone decorative trim, floral accents, scrollwork, and detailed gold-tone line decoration. Features an elaborate architectural-style case with stepped base, decorative feet, raised floral borders, and an ornamental upper pedestal with bowl-form finial and decorative side elements. This is the empty shell/case from a mantel clock. The original clock face and movement are not included. The large circular opening and interior mounting structure remain, making this a strong candidate for restoration, parts, repurposing, or installation of a custom clock mechanism. Dimensions: 18" H x 13.25" W x 5-5/8" D Pre-owned vintage condition. Shows surface wear, finish loss, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and other age-related wear. Some openings, mounting points, and hardware from the former clock mechanism remain visible. Sold as shown for restoration, decorative repurposing, or a custom clock project. Included with this lot is a bag of most internal clock parts for a clock to function correctly, but unknown if all parts are included. Have this inspected by a professional.
