An extensive collection of approximately 75 VHS video tapes, encompassing a variety of cinematic genres, television programmes, and special interest titles. The collection includes classic feature films from the 1930s to the 1950s, such as Casablanca, Mutiny on the Bounty, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Giant, and Singin' in the Rain. More contemporary titles from the 1960s through to 2004 are represented by films such as Out of Africa, Field of Dreams, Sleepless in Seattle, and The Terminal. The television category features box sets and individual volumes including the Western series Bonanza, The Jack Benny Program, Hogan's Heroes, and The Carol Burnett Show. Additional items include the Victory at Sea documentary collection, Barbara Taylor Bradford’s To Be The Best, and several holiday specials featuring Perry Como and Red Skelton. The lot further contains special interest titles covering National Geographic and Tai Chi. Production and distribution studios represented include MGM/UA Home Video, MCA Universal, 20th Century Fox, Warner Home Video, Republic Pictures, and Touchstone Home Video. The spines of most cases have been marked with blue adhesive tape containing handwritten production dates. Dimensions (measured against tape measure): Shelving unit W approx. 24 inches (61 cm) x D approx. 9.5 inches (24 cm). Condition: The items are in used condition, with the cardboard sleeves and plastic cases exhibiting varying degrees of shelf wear, including edge scuffing, minor creasing, and corner bumping. Most tapes have been modified with blue adhesive tape and handwritten labels on the spines. The tapes have not been tested for playability.
