A mid-century modern style footstool featuring a dark brown plush velour upholstered seat. The seat is designed with a concave curve along the two long sides and finished with matching corded piping along the top edge. The structure consists of a plywood base supported by four tapered, splayed wooden legs with a light-toned natural finish. The legs are secured to the frame via square metal mounting plates. Approximate dimensions (measured against visible tape measure): H 12.5 in x W 15.5 in x D 11.5 in. Condition: The item is in fair to good vintage condition. The velour upholstery exhibits significant pile wear, matting, and fading across the top surface. The underside upholstery shows fraying at the edges and loose staples where it is attached to the frame. The wooden legs have minor scuffs and finish wear consistent with age and use. Metal mounting hardware displays surface oxidation.
