Trainer Biography Alex, 30, is a Kentucky-based horse trainer whose passion for horsemanship extends far beyond the arena. Working with horses daily, Alex focuses on developing confident, willing partners through a foundation built on trust, communication, consistency, and patience. A firm believer in treating every horse as an individual, Alex emphasizes softness, responsiveness, and creating horses that are both mentally and physically prepared for success. In 2023, Alex earned the title of Dakota Showdown Trainer Challenge Champion, a testament to that dedication and skill. Outside of training, Alex serves on the Board of Directors for BGYRA and is proud to be sponsored by ResolveT by Hagyard. Inspired by mentors such as Phil Haugen, Alex strives to become just a little better with every ride.
