R Serial # TAS0411. 9mm Luger caliber double action only semi auto pistol with a 3-1/2” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with good rifling with light to moderate fouling. Smaller version of the Model 659 12 shot detachable magazine. This pistol features a stainless steel slide and an alloy frame with an ambidextrous slide mounted de-cocker safety. The brushed finish on the stainless steel slide is in good condition showing holster wear with scuffs and scratches. The silver toned finish on the alloy frame is in excellent condition showing little wear. There is a receipt in the box showing that this was a police duty gun and that the frame had been replaced by S&W. The checkered black plastic grips are in excellent condition showing little to no use. The action works fine. Includes the box with the instructions and instructions along with a soft holster and a spare magazine. Made from 1986-1988.
