Serial - 20025 Mfg - *RARE* Dreyse Model - Needlefire Shotgun Capacity - 2 Type - Shotgun, Side-by-Side Located in Chattanooga, TN Condition - Good This lot contains an elegant piece of firearms history, a Dreyse Needlefire doublebarrel shotgun. These works of art are not a common find; this one in particular has ornate Damascus steel barrels with subtle pinstripe engravings that appear to inlayed with gold- the wood on this gun is incredibly well kept with few scratches and the finish is still there. Unlike more conventional side-by-side shotguns, this one features an under lever side-opening breech. There are no gauge markings on this firearm, exact gauging is unknown but estimated to be a 16 gauge, however any attempts to fire this shotgun are NOT recommended due to the Damascus steel barrels. This is an absolute gorgeous piece of history! *Sold As Is* **Compass Auctions recommends this item be shipped in a hard case (not provided by Compass Auctions).
