Most likely manufactured by California Pottery or Shawnee Pottery or imported from Japan during the 1940s to 1950s. Design: A kitschy, mid-century modern figurative planter depicting a rickshaw driver wearing a conical sun hat pulling a large two-wheeled cart. The hollow back of the cart serves as a small vessel for succulents, small indoor plants, or toothpicks. Material & Color Palette: Made of high-gloss glazed earthenware or porcelain. It features a pastel blend of soft blue, cream, light pink, and vibrant yellow on the hat, with a prominent orange-yellow wheel accented with concentric details. Dimensions: Approximately 5 to 6 inches in length, as confirmed by the wooden ruler shown in the image.
