10x4.25in. Please see pictures for more details, thank you. S4 (special cart) This Chinese export brass bowl, manufactured between the 1890s and 1940s, features a beautifully aged golden patina adorned with hand-etched bird, dragon, and floral motifs alongside a continuous geometric Greek key border around the rim. The underside showcases an intricate cast relief depicting dual imperial dragons surrounding a six-character apocryphal Xuande reign mark reading "??????" (Great Ming Xuande Period Made), set beside a stamped uppercase “CHINA” country-of-origin mark required by early 20th-century customs regulations. Combining traditional imperial tribute aesthetics with functional craftsmanship, this distinctive piece serves as a classic and collectible example of Republic-era decorative brassware.
