Fine antique bronze bust in the manner of Clodion (Claude Michel), depicting a cherubic putto with softly modeled features, downcast gaze, and elaborately rendered curling hair, the shoulders draped in a stylized flowing form that enhances the Rococo aesthetic, mounted on a turned red and white variegated marble base with a brass collar; the sculpture bears an incised signature to the reverse consistent with Clodion-inspired works, and retains a rich dark brown patina with warm highlights, showing scattered scuffs, light scratches, and areas of surface wear commensurate with age and handling, while the marble base exhibits typical minor abrasions and residue to the underside, overall presenting attractively with strong decorative appeal and classical charm. Measures 6.75" Tall.
