Federal or Sheraton-style mahogany dining table featuring a rectangular fixed top section with one large hinged drop leaf that opens to create an expanded dining surface. The table is raised on slender turned and reeded legs with ring-turned details and rounded feet, including swing-out gate-leg supports beneath the leaf, while the curved apron and restrained molded edge lend the piece a graceful neoclassical profile. The warm reddish-brown finish reveals attractive grain throughout and allows the table to function compactly when the single leaf is lowered. Condition shows extensive age-appropriate surface wear, including scattered scuffs, scratches, abrasions, finish losses, dark marks, edge wear, minor separations at board and leaf joints, and a chipped and loosened area along one molded corner; the leaf and supports remain present, though stability and hardware should be checked before regular use. Measures 28.75" H x 24" W x 48" D. Top measures 45.25" W with leaf up.
