A trio of large gastropod shells of the Cymbiola imperialis species. These natural history specimens feature heavy spires with prominent, sharp tubercles and distinctive dark brown zigzag patterns over a cream base. Each shell displays a smooth, porcelaneous aperture with a warm peach to orange color. The largest specimen is approximately 9.5 inches long. The specimens show natural wear including eroded spine tips and minor chipping along the outer lips. One shell has a longitudinal growth flaw and surface calcification on the spire.
