2016 American Silver Eagle

The 2016 1 oz American Silver Eagle was issued by the United States Mint and contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty design, originally introduced on the half dollar in 1916, while the reverse displays John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle. First released in 1986, the American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States and remains a popular choice among collectors and precious metals investors.
